China Overseas Yongding Jiuli, designed by Beijing Miland International Design, stands as a testament to the enduring Chinese aspiration for harmony between residence and nature. Drawing inspiration from the renowned painting "Travelers Among Mountains and Streams," the project channels centuries-old ideals of natural living into a modern context. The design philosophy centers on creating an urban resort that seamlessly integrates with its lush surroundings, offering residents a retreat that feels both timeless and innovative.

The residential display area distinguishes itself through its rare terraced landscape, where layers of verdant forests unfold like brushstrokes on a canvas. The theme, "migrating in the shallow mountains and wandering in the picturesque scenery," is realized through a three-dimensional garden path that guides visitors through a sequence of immersive experiences. The result is a living environment that evokes the sensation of stepping into a traditional landscape painting, providing a serene yet sophisticated escape from city life.

Technological ingenuity is evident in the design's adaptation to the site's unique topography. The three-dimensional migratory tour path not only connects architectural clusters but also weaves through diverse themed landscapes. Signature features such as the Flying Rainbow Bridge, cascading waterfall walls, and the Jade Inkstone Forest Spring punctuate the journey, each offering a distinct perspective on the interplay between built form and natural beauty. The demonstration zone, spanning 7,237 square meters, serves as a model for integrating large-scale greenery within urban developments.

Research for the project emphasized the fusion of modern art with oriental cultural sentiment, resulting in a garden that evolves with the seasons. The spatial layout is meticulously layered, ensuring seamless transitions between different landscape themes. Overcoming the challenge of linking the homecoming footpath with the sunken courtyard, the design team created a cohesive experience that highlights the site's terraced landform and maximizes visual interest.

Unveiled in May 2024 in Beijing, China Overseas Yongding Jiuli has already garnered international acclaim, receiving the Platinum A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award in 2025. This recognition underscores the project's contribution to advancing the boundaries of art, design, and societal wellbeing. By offering a resort-like atmosphere within an urban setting, the development sets a new benchmark for residential environments that prioritize both aesthetic excellence and a deep connection to nature.
