Inspired by the gentle warmth of afternoon sunlight and the peaceful presence of six cats, Maison Of Silence offers a unique approach to residential design. The project’s vision centers on creating a tranquil retreat where daily clamor is left behind, and peace is embraced. Curved lines at the entrance guide movement and gaze, while a sculpted screen—crafted from natural wood, terrazzo, iron, and bronze mirrors—sets a calm, inviting tone. This entry feature integrates art, storage, and Feng Shui elements, seamlessly connecting the entrance to the living and dining areas.
The residence spans 106 square meters indoors, with a 12-meter sky garden balcony and two terraces extending the living space outdoors. The layout prioritizes openness and natural light, achieved by removing unnecessary partitions and minimizing corridor space. A hallway lined with windows maximizes sunlight and views of greenery, enhancing both the family’s and the cats’ sense of security. Each main bedroom enjoys direct access to outdoor spaces, while the central round dining table fosters togetherness and shared moments.
Maison Of Silence stands out for its harmonious blend of form and function. Flexible spaces and thoughtfully placed furniture ensure unobstructed sightlines, while sliding doors in the kitchen isolate cooking fumes without compromising openness. The design’s color palette—grays, whites, and earthy tones—unifies the interior, complemented by warm wood accents and a cloud-like eco-friendly main light that adds softness and dimension.
Feng Shui principles guided the spatial organization, with pathways leading from southwest to northeast and visual cues directing attention toward the lush balcony. The relocation of the central hallway beside floor-to-ceiling windows blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating an illusion of expanded space. The design also addresses the practical needs of a multi-cat household, with a dedicated cat room and optimized circulation for both humans and pets.
Overcoming challenges of balancing Feng Shui, modern aesthetics, and the dynamics of a pet-friendly home, Timeless Space Design achieved a tranquil, cohesive environment. A warm reddish-brown accent highlights the wealth area, while neutral walls and wood textures provide a backdrop for ancestral items and subtle decor. The result is a space that invites relaxation, movement, and connection—qualities recognized by its Silver A' Design Award in 2025.
Maison Of Silence exemplifies how thoughtful design can transform a residence into a sanctuary, where every element—from sunlight to spatial flow—contributes to a harmonious lifestyle shared by family and feline companions alike.
