Immersive exhibition design celebrates creativity and global trends

The exhibition’s design drew inspiration from the desire to foster inspiration and enjoyment among buyers, introducing a Cultural and Creative Corner with three distinct themes: craftsman mixology, surrealism, and sustenance. Each theme celebrated different cultural influences and creative expressions, providing a platform for designers and brands to showcase their latest lifestyle products. In Fashion Instyle, the focus shifted to tactile qualities and comforting materials, encouraging visitors to connect emotionally with fabrics and envision their integration into future collections.

Unique in its scale and execution, Home and Fashion Instyle stood out for its immersive, multifunctional spaces. The Cultural & Creative Corner spanned 30 by 29 meters with a height of 6 meters, featuring hanging LED signage for maximum visibility. Each thematic zone covered approximately 250 square meters, utilizing recycled materials such as plywood and 100% recycled polyply plastic, complemented by fresh floral displays. The Fashion Instyle entrance, measuring 32 by 18 meters, used soft materials like wool and tulle to create a welcoming contrast with architectural elements, guiding guests toward the Mini Parade stage.

Realization of the design involved meticulous curation of cohesive zones, each reflecting its theme through materials, colors, and lighting. The craftsman mixology area used natural woods and earthy tones, while the surrealism zone featured large mirror houses and a vibrant LED wall. The sustenance area emphasized eco-conscious materials and a wellness garden, creating an “instagrammable” moment. In Fashion Instyle, a multifunctional LED screen and professional runway lighting elevated the ambiance, making the space ideal for fashion shows and networking.

Functionality was at the heart of the exhibition’s layout. Visitors were greeted by an inviting feature wall, leading to a dynamic greenhouse setup in the Hall of Elegance. The Cultural and Creative Corner on the third floor hosted workshops and forums, while the Mini Parade stage provided a versatile platform for fashion events and industry networking. These thoughtfully designed spaces encouraged exploration, engagement, and meaningful connections among attendees.

Extensive research underpinned the design process, with trend forecasts and insights from partners like Pantone guiding the selection of colors, textures, and lighting. The result was a cohesive, contemporary aesthetic that resonated with global trends while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Despite the challenge of a three-day installation window, close collaboration among teams ensured seamless integration of thematic elements and functional requirements, delivering an unforgettable experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.

Home and Fashion Instyle’s innovative approach and technical excellence were recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in 2025, affirming its status as a benchmark for creative and professionally remarkable event design. The event not only showcased the latest in lifestyle and fashion but also strengthened Hong Kong’s position as a leading destination for design and innovation.
