Vitro Mobile EV: Redefining Autonomous Moving Solutions

Sean Jiaxing Guo’s award-winning design merges automation, sustainability, and user-centric innovation.

Inspired by the elegance of low-profile cars and the historical sedan chair, Vitro Mobile EV offers a seamless, energy-efficient moving experience through advanced automation and a unique suspension system.

Vitro Mobile EV, designed by Sean Jiaxing Guo, represents a significant leap in autonomous vehicle innovation, specifically tailored for household moving. Drawing inspiration from both the streamlined form of low-profile cars and the user-friendly accessibility of sedan chairs, this concept car reimagines mobility for modern lifestyles. The design’s advanced suspension system, which allows the chassis to lower dynamically, ensures adaptability and ease of loading, setting a new standard for user-centered transport solutions.

Central to the Vitro Mobile EV’s uniqueness is its integration of renewable energy and automation. The vehicle is equipped with solar panels and is charged at a central dispatch center, emphasizing sustainability. Users interact with the vehicle through a dedicated app, specifying their location, destination, and moving requirements. Upon arrival, a touch screen interface on the vehicle’s side facilitates effortless operation, making the moving process intuitive and efficient.

The realization of this concept relied heavily on digital innovation. Utilizing advanced 3D modeling, visualization, and simulation, Sean Jiaxing Guo meticulously refined the vehicle’s dimensions and suspension system. Measuring over five meters in length and nearly three meters in width, the Vitro Mobile EV balances spaciousness with maneuverability, ensuring it meets the demands of residential environments while maintaining energy efficiency.

Research for the project focused on addressing the common pain points of traditional moving services, such as accessibility and physical effort. Insights from user studies highlighted a strong demand for automated, sustainable solutions. The design process overcame significant challenges, particularly in optimizing the vehicle’s size and usability, by analyzing user data and current electric vehicle standards to achieve an ideal balance between storage capacity and ease of navigation.

Vitro Mobile EV’s commitment to convenience and environmental responsibility has not gone unnoticed. The project was awarded the Iron A' Futuristic Design Award in 2025, recognizing its practical innovation and contribution to a better world. By offering a forward-thinking, user-friendly, and sustainable alternative for household mobility, Vitro Mobile EV sets a new benchmark in the realm of autonomous vehicles.

As development continues, Vitro Mobile EV stands poised to transform the moving experience, combining cutting-edge technology with thoughtful design to meet the evolving needs of contemporary living.
