The Bonna Ambiente Booth by Idilbanu and Partners redefines the trade show experience through a meticulously segmented layout, dynamic materials, and digital integration, offering visitors an engaging journey through Bonna’s premium tableware collections.

The Bonna Ambiente Booth stands as a testament to the evolving landscape of exhibition design, where immersive brand experiences take center stage. Conceived by Idilbanu and Partners, this 154-square-meter stand was unveiled at Messe Frankfurt Ambiente Fair in February 2025, following a rigorous design and research process in Istanbul. The booth’s layout is strategically divided into zones, each highlighting a distinct tableware collection, allowing visitors to explore Bonna’s diverse range with clarity and ease.

Central to the booth’s appeal is its seamless blend of form and function. Organic wall cutouts and dynamic material choices, such as Albond composite panels, create a visually striking environment that guides visitors naturally through the space. The use of color, texture, and lighting is carefully orchestrated to enhance the perception of each collection, while modular construction ensures adaptability and efficient production.

Interaction and engagement are at the heart of the Bonna stand’s design philosophy. A welcoming bar area fosters social connections, while thoughtfully placed seating zones invite visitors to linger and engage more deeply with the products. The integration of a digital catalog extends the experience beyond physical displays, enabling visitors to explore the full breadth of Bonna’s offerings in an interactive format.

Underlying the booth’s design is a foundation of research-driven insights. User experience studies, market analysis, and product interaction research informed every aspect, from spatial zoning to navigation flow. Surveys and interviews revealed that intuitive organization and atmospheric ambiance are key to enhancing visitor engagement and reinforcing brand identity. These findings shaped the booth’s intuitive layout and immersive atmosphere.

Overcoming challenges such as spatial constraints and the need for both tactile and digital experiences, Idilbanu and Partners leveraged sustainable materials and modular solutions. The result is a stand that not only captivates visually but also maximizes functionality and visitor flow. The Bonna Ambiente Booth’s innovative approach earned it the Bronze A' Design Award in 2025, recognizing its creative ingenuity and contribution to quality of life improvements in trade show architecture.
