Secret of Eternity stands at the intersection of art and science, drawing direct inspiration from the Turritopsis Dohrnii jellyfish, renowned for its ability to revert to its youthful form and achieve biological immortality. The design’s rotating curves evoke the endless cycle of life, while integrated LED lights symbolize energy and purity. This dual-function piece elegantly wraps around the neck as a necklace and transforms into a brooch, making it both a statement of style and a testament to versatility.

What distinguishes Secret of Eternity from conventional jewelry is its kinetic mechanism. The necklace rotates vertically in a full 360-degree motion, mirroring the organic movement of marine life. Starting at the left carotid artery and curving around the neck, the piece ends at the jugular, subtly highlighting the source of life. The detachable pendant, which doubles as a brooch, is powered by a battery-driven motor and LED system, with future plans for solar energy integration to enhance sustainability.

The realization of this innovative design involved advanced digital modeling through the Matrix program and meticulous craftsmanship in 18K gold using the ajour technique for lightness. The movement is achieved via a custom motor and gear system, while diamond accents and LED lighting add a mesmerizing visual dimension. The mechanical structure is cleverly disguised, creating an illusion of organic fluidity reminiscent of the jellyfish’s graceful motion.

Research into the Turritopsis Dohrnii’s regenerative abilities informed both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the design.
