At the heart of the Mannay CBE 2020 booth lies a central island, ingeniously dividing the space into two distinct yet interconnected zones. On one side, Mannay’s reputation as a professional and technologically advanced skincare ODM factory is showcased through displays of self-developed raw materials and sophisticated production processes. Opposite, Luckinfo’s youthful and colorful brand identity comes alive with interactive product displays and lively packaging, appealing directly to younger visitors.
The booth’s design employs a variety of innovative elements to create a memorable visitor experience. Neon lights, lightboxes, and grid patterns reminiscent of school notebooks infuse the space with energy, while green canister installations and conveyor belts evoke the dynamic nature of skincare production. These features not only highlight each brand’s unique strengths but also ensure a cohesive visual narrative throughout the booth.
Functionality is a key consideration in the layout, which is organized into reception, display, and discussion areas. The central island maximizes display opportunities and facilitates a smooth visitor flow, allowing guests to transition effortlessly between Mannay and Luckinfo’s offerings. A discussion table surrounded by product displays encourages interaction between clients and staff, fostering meaningful engagement and brand connection.
To further enhance the booth’s appeal, creative promotional strategies are employed, such as the inclusion of male models and oversized product replicas. These tactics contribute to a lively atmosphere, drawing in crowds and generating buzz on the exhibition floor. The design’s attention to detail and strategic use of lighting and color create a strong visual impact, ensuring the booth stands out in a competitive environment.
Extensive research and multiple design revisions underpin the project’s success. Wai Ho Cheung’s approach carefully balances the distinct identities of Mannay and Luckinfo, overcoming the challenge of integrating two brands into a harmonious whole. The result is a booth that not only meets industry standards but also delivers an engaging and memorable experience for visitors, earning recognition with the Iron A' Design Award in 2025.
Mannay CBE 2020 exemplifies how innovative design can bridge brand philosophies, enhance visitor engagement, and set new benchmarks for exhibition architecture in the beauty industry.
