Rose Garden, designed by Premier Jade Design, stands as a testament to the harmonious fusion of French architectural grandeur and the refined artistry of Suzhou’s classical gardens. Drawing inspiration from the central axis symmetry of French palaces, the project achieves a sense of solemnity and elegance, while simultaneously honoring the “order of heaven and earth” rooted in traditional Chinese etiquette. This duality is evident throughout the 2,600-square-meter space, which serves as a sales office for high-end residences in Suzhou’s Greentown development.
The spatial layout of Rose Garden is meticulously crafted, referencing the renowned gardening techniques of Suzhou—such as borrowing, matching, and dividing scenery—to create a layered, immersive journey for visitors. The use of axis layouts and geometric forms, hallmarks of French court design, further enhances the sense of balance and order, resulting in an environment that is both stately and inviting. According to Premier Jade Design, “the project adopts an open and smooth layout, ensuring transparency while balancing privacy and functionality.”
Material selection plays a crucial role in conveying luxury and sophistication. The design features a palette of metal, solid wood, luxury stone, leather, resin, acrylic, and glass, each chosen for its tactile and visual qualities. Low-saturation tones, warm wooden accents, and delicate stone textures combine to evoke a warm, elegant atmosphere. Every piece of furniture and decoration is carefully curated to reflect modern aesthetics while preserving cultural heritage, infusing the space with both artistic flair and a sense of lived-in comfort.
The realization of Rose Garden involved a comprehensive process, from client consultations and conceptual development to construction supervision and post-completion feedback. Premier Jade Design’s approach underscores the importance of collaboration and adaptability, ensuring that the final space not only meets but exceeds contemporary residential expectations. The integration of smart home technology and green ecological principles further demonstrates a commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Underlying the project is a foundation of applied research, combining literature reviews, field investigations, and case analyses to ensure both feasibility and originality. The primary challenge lay in seamlessly integrating the cultural essence of Suzhou gardens with modern design concepts, resulting in a space that is both forward-thinking and deeply rooted in tradition. This achievement has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2025, celebrating Rose Garden as a trendsetting creation that advances art, science, and design.
Rose Garden by Premier Jade Design exemplifies how thoughtful design can bridge cultures and eras, offering a luxurious, meaningful environment for modern living while honoring the rich heritage of its locale.
