Cali stands out as a new tumbler collection that reimagines the traditional drinking glass. Designed in Italy during the summer of 2024, the series was conceived as a creative exploration in glassware, resulting in a product that balances personality and practicality. The design draws inspiration from the elegant form of a chalice, with the main body appearing to float above a delicate yet stable base. This visual effect not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also reinforces the identity of Officina Endorfino.

The collection features three stackable sizes—167ml, 333ml, and 500ml—all sharing a consistent diameter of 74mm but varying in height. This modular approach allows for easy storage and versatility in use, making the glasses suitable for a range of beverages and settings. The stackability also extends the product line naturally, offering both visual harmony and functional convenience.

Crafted from borosilicate glass, Cali leverages the material’s renowned strength, durability, and resistance to temperature changes. Borosilicate glass is not only practical for everyday use but also environmentally responsible, being infinitely recyclable and minimizing waste. The unique properties of the glass create captivating reflections and playful interactions with light, placing the drink at the center of attention while allowing for creative color combinations.

The design process involved extensive research into material properties and formal possibilities, utilizing both traditional sketching and advanced 3D modeling. The main challenge addressed was the creation of a modular, stackable series that pushes the boundaries of glassware design while maintaining visual impact. Environmental considerations extend to the packaging, which is made from recycled cardboard, further underscoring the commitment to sustainability. The Cali series has been recognized with the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in 2025, highlighting its contribution to advancing design excellence and societal wellbeing.
