The Base glassware series, designed by Florian Seidl for Officina Endorfino, reimagines the drinking glass by focusing on its core purpose and the visual interplay between emptiness and fullness. Inspired by the duality of fragility and solidity, the design features a super delicate top paired with a chunky, stable base, all crafted from transparent borosilicate glass. This contrast not only enhances the tactile experience but also invites users to reflect on the classic question: is the glass half empty or half full?

What distinguishes the Base series is its modular, stackable approach. Available in three sizes—200ml, 330ml, and 500ml—each glass maintains a consistent diameter, allowing for efficient stacking and storage. The use of borosilicate glass, renowned for its strength, temperature resistance, and recyclability, ensures durability while minimizing environmental impact. The packaging, made from recycled cardboard, further underscores the commitment to sustainability.
