PepsiCo Design and Innovation reimagines brand engagement with the third edition of the Cheetos Cheesy Verse, an immersive experience that celebrates the playful spirit and diverse flavors of the Cheetos portfolio.

In July 2024, the iconic Chester Cheetah welcomed fans into the Cheetos Cheesy Verse, an imaginative universe where each Cheetos snack variety—Torciditos, Bolitas, Colmillos, Flamin' Hot, Poffs, and Popcorn—inhabits its own distinct world. Drawing inspiration from the unique personalities of these snacks, the design team curated interactive environments that revolve around entertainment, fashion, and food, the core elements of the Cheetos brand identity.

This third edition, hosted in Mexico City, expanded the scale and ambition of previous years. The 2024 Cheesy Verse featured ten immersive experiences, each designed to transport visitors into a playful, sensory-rich landscape. Attendees could explore themed zones, each reflecting the flavor and character of a specific Cheetos product, while engaging with installations that encouraged participation and discovery.

PepsiCo Design and Innovation emphasized originality by blending digital and physical elements, ensuring that each visitor experienced a seamless journey through the Cheetos universe. The event’s design integrated vibrant visuals, tactile installations, and interactive technology, creating a multi-layered narrative that resonated with both loyal fans and newcomers.

According to industry recognition, the project was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design in 2025, highlighting its innovative execution and positive impact on brand experience.
