Serasa Digital stands out as a transformative mobile app, reshaping how credit information is accessed and understood in Brazil. Designed by Rodolpho Henrique, the project focuses on a customer-centric approach, recognizing the unique challenge of building trust in a sector where skepticism toward credit services prevails. The app’s primary goal is to deliver clarity, consistency, and confidence to users navigating their financial data.
Central to the redesign is the concept of trust, achieved through interface consistency and transparency. Henrique introduced an interface inventory to identify and resolve inconsistencies, ensuring a seamless user experience. This attention to detail supports the app’s mission to reduce customer support calls and increase conversion rates, reflecting a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
The design process leveraged advanced tools such as Figma for workflow and Principle App and After Effects for motion prototyping. Serasa Digital is available on both iOS and Android, with a desktop platform accessible to all users. The modular report system, a key innovation, adapts to the diverse needs of companies, providing essential information in a clear, hierarchical format. This flexibility ensures that businesses of all sizes can benefit from actionable insights and real-time suggestions tailored to their market context.
Extensive research underpinned the project, including in-depth interviews with 25 customers to uncover pain points and expectations. Findings highlighted the importance of transparency, straightforward processes, and clear information about services and fees. These insights guided the design, resulting in a platform that demystifies credit data and empowers users to make informed decisions.
The project’s success is reflected in its recognition with the Iron A' Design Award in 2025, honoring its practical innovation and industry impact. By prioritizing user trust and intuitive design, Serasa Digital sets a new standard for digital credit reporting platforms, contributing to greater financial confidence and literacy in Brazil’s evolving market.
Serasa Digital exemplifies how thoughtful design and research-driven innovation can transform complex financial services into accessible, trustworthy tools for everyday users. The project’s achievements underscore the importance of empathy, transparency, and adaptability in shaping the future of digital finance.
