India’s architectural marvels and Vespa’s iconic design unite in a bold campaign by Centrick Marketing Solutions LLP, marking new dealership launches with a creative homage to local culture and timeless style.

India’s landscape is a tapestry of history, where monuments such as the Taj Mahal transcend mere architecture to become symbols of national identity. Recognizing this, Centrick Marketing Solutions LLP crafted the “Monumental Hello” campaign for Vespa, blending the scooter’s classic silhouette with the visual language of India’s most celebrated landmarks. This initiative honors both the country’s rich heritage and Vespa’s enduring presence in Indian scooter culture.

The campaign’s uniqueness lies in its approach: each city’s dealership launch is paired with a custom illustration of a local monument, reimagined in Vespa’s signature vibrant palette. These bold graphics not only capture the spirit of each location but also reflect Vespa’s Italian roots, creating a harmonious fusion of global and local aesthetics. Expressive typography and dynamic compositions further enhance the visual impact, making each poster and advertisement a statement piece.

Technical execution was meticulous, with designs tailored for various formats including A3 posters, full-page newspaper ads, and postcards. The creative team—comprising Roy Menezes, Malavika Shah, Yash Chauhan, Niel Thakkar, Arunima Bhatnagar, Shalmali Lugade, and Siddharth Pandit—ensured that every detail resonated with both Vespa’s brand identity and the unique vibrancy of each city.

Curating monuments across India’s vast and diverse regions presented significant challenges. With nearly 4,000 cities spanning 28 states and 8 union territories, selecting landmarks that authentically represent each locale required extensive research and precision. The result is a collection of visuals that not only celebrate local pride but also uphold Vespa’s legacy of design excellence.

The “Monumental Hello” campaign has earned international acclaim, winning the prestigious Golden A’ Design Award in Advertising, Marketing, and Communication Design in 2025. This accolade recognizes the campaign’s innovative approach, artistic merit, and its significant impact on the intersection of art, design, and technology in lifestyle branding.
