Distinctive features set RestBase apart in the realm of corporate identity design. The RB monogram, derived from the primary logo, serves as a bold visual anchor and extends into angular framing patterns. These elements, combined with dynamic orange gradients, reinforce the brand’s core message: rest is not a passive state, but a disciplined practice that drives energetic performance. The hybrid visual language balances stability and fluidity, making the brand instantly recognizable and memorable.
Environmental responsibility is integral to RestBase’s realization. The brand utilizes sustainable materials and high-quality print technology on recyclable substrates, ensuring each physical representation aligns with eco-friendly values. Technical specifications dictate a minimum print height for the primary logo, maintaining clarity and impact across various applications.
RestBase’s design is grounded in extensive research. Meta-analysis of neuroscience studies and consumer surveys with 240 participants demonstrated that strategic rest intervals significantly enhance cognitive performance. Color perception tests identified orange as the optimal hue for balancing energy and comfort, while typography studies informed the hybrid wordmark’s structure. These evidence-based insights shaped a visual system that positions rest as a measurable productivity accelerator.
The project, developed in Beijing from April to November 2024, overcame the challenge of visually redefining rest. Avoiding traditional motifs of tranquility, Sxdesign embraced vibrant, action-oriented aesthetics to express intentional recovery.
