Inspired by the desire to reduce waste and enhance daily living, Sun Wang and Sun Xi have created a solution that integrates seamlessly into contemporary routines. The design’s core philosophy is to extend the life and utility of packaging, making it both practical and aesthetically appealing.

At the heart of Woosmell is the concept of “packaging aroma.” Scent, typically intangible, is encapsulated within lunch-bag-style packaging, transforming fragrance into a portable and giftable experience. This innovative approach appeals to scent enthusiasts and those who appreciate the art of fragrance. The packaging itself becomes a messenger of the brand’s ethos, merging olfactory pleasure with visual and tactile delight.

Woosmell’s construction utilizes Tyvek, an ultra-durable, eco-conscious synthetic paper developed by DuPont. This choice not only ensures longevity and reusability but also aligns with the growing demand for sustainable materials in design. The use of cork as an aromatherapy diffuser further distinguishes the product, replacing traditional wood or fiber materials for a more environmentally responsible solution.

The flameless fragrance diffuser operates with a cork diffuser ball attached to the fragrance bottle. A built-in cotton wick draws the liquid, releasing a gentle, continuous aroma. This thoughtful mechanism eliminates the need for flames or electricity, enhancing safety and convenience while maintaining a refined sensory experience.

Woosmell’s impact has been recognized internationally, earning the MUSE Design Awards Gold Award, the French Design Award Gold Prize, and the Red Dot Product Design Award in 2025.
