The project, completed in September 2024, reflects a commitment to both aesthetic refinement and technological advancement, ensuring that each element serves a functional and experiential purpose.

Central to the clinic’s unique character is the extensive use of Corian, a material renowned for its hygienic properties and design flexibility. Corian’s curves and plasticity define the clinic’s clean, modern lines, while its non-porous surface inhibits bacterial growth—a vital consideration in medical settings. This material forms the backbone of the reception desk, integrated wall displays, and work counters, seamlessly combining visual appeal with practical benefits.

The clinic’s layout, spanning 120 square meters, is meticulously zoned to optimize productivity and workflow. It encompasses specialized spaces for orthodontics, periodontology, surgery, x-ray imaging, sterilization, and staff amenities. Each area is designed to support the specific needs of dental professionals while enhancing patient comfort and safety. The integration of advanced communication, electrical, heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems posed significant challenges, requiring precise coordination to meet stringent medical standards.

Furniture throughout the clinic is custom-designed for dental applications, crafted from premium Italian metal by Astra Mobili. These pieces blend elegance with durability and are tailored for hands-free operation to maintain hygiene. Upper cabinets allow for touchless access to consumables, and all mixers feature photocell technology from Ideal Standard, enabling touch-free water control. The flooring, made from Stone Plastic Composite (SPC), offers exceptional strength, water resistance, and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for high-traffic healthcare environments.

Era Digital Dental Clinic’s design research focused on functional zoning to maximize efficiency, while the overall aesthetic merges technology and mindfulness. The result is a space that not only meets but exceeds industry standards, earning the project the Iron A’ Design Award in 2025 for its innovative integration of form, function, and patient experience.
