Central Mansion stands as a testament to the evolving landscape of residential architecture in Hainan. Designed by Tianhua Architecture, the project draws its form from the graceful lines of local coconut trees, integrating these motifs into the building’s facade and landscape. This approach not only pays homage to the region’s natural heritage but also establishes a striking urban presence along the city’s expressway, positioning the development as both a green sanctuary and a cultural landmark.
One of the project’s most distinctive features is its immersive community theme garden, which connects two residential clusters via a landscape life axis. This design fosters a sense of unity and interaction among residents of all ages, while promoting an ecological, park-like environment. The planning pattern—one axis with multiple clusters—creates a dynamic habitat that adapts to diverse lifestyles, supporting Tianhua Architecture’s vision of a healthy, compound community.
Material selection further reinforces the project’s connection to its surroundings. The use of beige coarse sand real stone paint mirrors the hues of Hainan’s beaches and sky, while champagne aluminum panels highlight architectural lines reminiscent of coconut trees. Covering 128,600 square meters, the development balances high-rise buildings for urban visibility with multi-storey structures that emphasize privacy and comfort, achieving a poetic equilibrium between public and private realms.
Central Mansion’s realization involved close collaboration among design and construction teams, with meticulous attention to facade details and construction methods. The project’s timeline, spanning from August 2023 to October 2025, reflects a commitment to quality and innovation, overcoming challenges such as integrating landscape and architecture, and organizing spatial nodes across the site’s two main axes.
Research into Hainan’s tropical monsoon climate and the demands of a growing population informed the project’s design strategies. By addressing issues such as high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and the need for resilient living environments, Central Mansion sets a new benchmark for residential comfort and sustainability. The integration of smart home technology and comprehensive amenities further elevates the living experience, establishing a futuristic model for community development.
Recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in 2025, Central Mansion exemplifies outstanding expertise and creativity in construction and real estate projects. The development’s innovative approach, artistic expression, and deep respect for local culture position it as a model for future urban communities in tropical environments.
Central Mansion not only redefines residential architecture in Hainan but also serves as an inspiring example of how thoughtful design can foster harmony between people, place, and nature.
