Avant Collection: Redefining Bathroom Furniture Elegance

Minimalist forms meet material innovation in Manolo Duran Diseno’s award-winning design.

Avant by Manolo Duran Diseno introduces a new era of bathroom furniture, blending minimalist aesthetics with dynamic material contrasts to create versatile, user-centric spaces.

The Avant collection stands out as a sophisticated response to contemporary bathroom design, merging the play of volumes and transparencies with a thoughtful combination of materials. Inspired by the contrast between lacquered unicolor surfaces and the natural textures of stone and wood, Avant achieves a delicate balance between complexity and simplicity. The integrated solid surface washbasin and smoked glass elements further enhance the collection’s visual intrigue, ensuring each piece harmonizes effortlessly with diverse interior styles.

Distinctive features set Avant apart in the realm of bathroom furniture. The collection’s integrated washbasin, exclusive door profiles, and the interplay of wood, stone, and glass create a personal and expressive furnishing solution. A unique backlit mirror and asymmetrical assembly of elements at varying depths contribute to a dynamic yet balanced composition. The minimalist shapes and thin horizontal lines evoke a sense of abstraction and movement, resulting in a bathroom environment that is both functional and artful.

Avant’s realization is rooted in ergonomic standards and advanced 3D modeling processes. The design journey begins with exhaustive sketching and prototyping, followed by meticulous selection of colors and textures in collaboration with trusted suppliers. Sustainable materials such as chipboard and MDF are central to the collection, and production takes place at Grupo Bono’s state-of-the-art facility, renowned for its technological excellence in furniture manufacturing. This commitment to sustainability and innovation ensures both durability and environmental responsibility.

Functionality is at the heart of Avant’s appeal. The furniture features cushioned closures for doors and drawers, enhancing user comfort and convenience. The mirror incorporates a practical rotation and approach system for its magnifying lens, operated manually for ease of use. These thoughtful details reflect a deep understanding of user needs, informed by extensive market research and a rich heritage in home furnishings design.

Avant’s journey began in Valencia, Spain, in June 2023 and is now nearing completion. The collection’s development was shaped by rigorous market analysis and a commitment to balancing aesthetics, form, and production efficiency. The result is a suspended furniture line that exalts the simplicity of rectangular forms while offering a multisensory experience through its interplay of sight and touch. The collection’s robust yet minimalist frame, exclusive brushed aluminum profiles, and harmonious material combinations have earned it the Bronze A' Design Award in 2025, recognizing its contribution to quality of life and design excellence.

Avant by Manolo Duran Diseno exemplifies how thoughtful design can elevate everyday spaces, offering a timeless solution that marries innovation with enduring beauty.
