Inair: Redefining Productivity with AR Spatial Computing

Immersive virtual workspaces meet ergonomic design for modern professionals

Inair, developed by the Inair Design Team, introduces a groundbreaking AR spatial computing device that transforms how people work, blending advanced technology with user-centric design to address the evolving needs of remote and collaborative work environments.

As digitalization accelerates, traditional work tools often struggle to keep pace with the demands of modern professionals. Inair emerges as a solution to these challenges, offering a seamless fusion of virtual workspace and portability. The device responds to the growing desire for freedom from spatial and hardware constraints, aiming to boost productivity and improve work-life balance. According to industry research, over 50% of finance and IT roles can be performed remotely, yet many positions requiring collaboration or specialized tools face significant barriers. Inair addresses these gaps by providing an immersive, multi-screen experience that adapts to various work scenarios.

At the core of Inair’s innovation is its lightweight headset and main unit, designed for comfort and extended use. The glasses utilize BirdBath optical technology to project high-definition, large-scale visuals, while ergonomic features such as flexible composite temples and directional noise cancellation ensure privacy and comfort. The accompanying Pod host integrates spatial ray and touch interaction, enhanced by linear motor feedback, delivering a natural and intuitive user experience. These elements collectively redefine how users interact with digital content, moving beyond the limitations of traditional screens.

Inair’s unique strength lies in its multimodal AI recognition, which powers proactive and intelligent interactions. The system supports spatial raycasting, touch, motion sensing, and voice control, enabling users to navigate interfaces through gaze, gestures, or touch. The AI assistant further enhances efficiency by predicting user needs and streamlining multitasking, making digital workflows smarter and more responsive. This approach not only increases productivity but also minimizes cognitive load, allowing users to focus on creative and strategic tasks.

Technical excellence is evident in Inair’s specifications: the glasses weigh just 77 grams and feature electrochromic properties for adaptable viewing, while the Pod host incorporates a Qualcomm processor, biometric fingerprint recognition, and haptic feedback. The device’s design was shaped by extensive research, including usability testing with over 200 professionals. Findings highlighted the importance of screen size and portability, as well as the untapped potential of AI assistants in office environments. Inair’s integration of BirdBath optics and spatial touch interaction directly addresses these needs, setting a new standard for AR productivity tools.

Despite the complexity of integrating high-performance computing, advanced optics, and intelligent interaction within a compact form, the Inair Design Team overcame significant technical challenges. Innovations in hardware stacking, thermal management, and material selection ensured that the device remained lightweight without sacrificing performance. This achievement has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Platinum A' Wearable Technologies Design Award in 2025, and has positioned Inair as a leader in the AR device market, with top sales during China’s Double 11 and Double 12 shopping festivals and a successful debut at CES 2025.

Inair stands as a testament to the transformative potential of AR spatial computing in the workplace. By combining immersive visuals, ergonomic design, and intelligent interaction, it offers a vision of the future where productivity is no longer bound by physical or technological limitations. As the boundaries between digital and physical workspaces continue to blur, Inair paves the way for a more flexible, efficient, and engaging professional experience.
