Eshta stands out as a revolutionary candle concept, blending the enduring charm of candlelight with the practicality demanded by today’s interiors. Unlike traditional candles that burn out and deform over time, Eshta features a refillable system using liquid fuel, ensuring a continuous, stable flame. This approach not only extends the candle’s lifespan but also maintains the authentic ambiance of real fire, a quality often lost in electric alternatives.
The design draws inspiration from classic paraffin wax candles and vintage candle stands, reimagined through a modern lens. The use of glass and concrete—two neutral, durable, and cost-effective materials—ensures Eshta’s compatibility with a variety of contemporary spaces. Glass provides transparency and elegance, while concrete offers stability and a minimalist aesthetic, making the piece both functional and visually striking.
Production of Eshta involves advanced techniques, including CNC machining for precision and silicon molding for form, culminating in a refined concrete base. This process highlights the intersection of craftsmanship and technology, a hallmark of innovative design. The finished product is available in three heights (95, 110, and 125 cm) with a 12 cm diagonal, allowing for versatility in placement and use.
Market research played a crucial role in shaping Eshta’s development. By analyzing consumer needs and purchasing power, the design team prioritized affordability and adaptability. The result is a candle that not only reduces ongoing costs through cheap, rechargeable fuel but also integrates seamlessly into diverse environments, from minimalist homes to eclectic offices.
Eshta’s unique properties have garnered industry recognition, earning the Iron A' Design Award in 2025 for its blend of practicality, innovation, and aesthetic appeal. As a decorative item, it exemplifies how thoughtful design can enhance everyday living while promoting sustainability and enduring beauty.
Eshta invites users to experience the warmth and elegance of candlelight without compromise, setting a new standard for decorative homeware in the modern age.
