Artemis Clinics addresses the often overwhelming process faced by health tourists through a user-centric mobile app that combines verified doctor listings, AI-powered consultations, and smart trip planning. The platform is tailored for international patients, particularly those traveling to Turkey and the UAE, and aims to replace unreliable directories with a comprehensive, guided experience. By integrating live chat, personalized timelines, and a dynamic itinerary, Artemis ensures that users feel supported and informed at every stage of their medical journey.

The app’s development was grounded in extensive UX research, including interviews with patients from Europe, North America, and Australia. Findings revealed that trust, timing, and clarity are paramount for users navigating foreign healthcare systems. Artemis responds to these needs with a responsive interface, multilingual accessibility, and interactive components for smart filtering, chat, and appointment scheduling. The modular architecture supports both iOS and Android, with scalable wireframes and API-ready modules for clinic data, AI messaging, and payment processing.

One of Artemis’s standout features is its AI integration, which powers consultations and messaging, offering immediate, reliable guidance. The app’s design prioritizes emotional reassurance, providing reminders, direct communication channels, and a customizable itinerary planner. This approach not only streamlines the booking process but also helps users manage the emotional complexities of seeking treatment abroad.

Overcoming challenges such as legal, cultural, and linguistic barriers, the Artemis team focused on creating a calm and intuitive user experience. The interface’s clarity and accessibility are the result of careful research and prototyping, with special attention to localization and post-operative care support. The project, initiated in Izmir, Turkey in April 2024, is set for launch in Q3 2025, following rigorous prototyping and AI integration phases.
