The Roots: Minimalist Cufflinks Connecting Tradition and Modern Design

The Roots cufflinks stand out with their unique properties and design. Made of white gold and adorned with precious stones, each cufflink features the stamp of the authentic ornament - the turtle. This symbol holds deep meaning, representing human values, principles, and the beauty of humanity. It embodies positive energy, joy, happiness, unity, and the essence of family guardianship. The cufflinks serve as a bridge between centuries of tradition and modern design, encapsulating the spirit's identity and timeless values.

The realization of these cufflinks involved a meticulous process. Starting with sketches on plain paper, the designs were then transformed into 3D models using Matrix software. The cufflinks were 3D printed, cast in 14 karat white gold, and assembled. Each piece received different surface finishing treatments, including polishing, sandblast treatment, decorative UV jeweler dye, and black rhodium plating.

Technical specifications of the cufflinks include 14kt white gold weighing 8.40g, black rhodium, and a 0.36ct blue sapphire. The dimensions of each cufflink are 15.04mm x 14.97mm x 2.50mm, with a thickness of 1.20mm.

The Roots cufflinks are not only visually stunning but also versatile in their functionality. Suitable for both men and women, they feature traditional ornaments packaged in a modern square design. Whether for everyday wear or special occasions, these cufflinks serve as a reminder of our roots and the interconnectedness of humanity.

The idea for The Roots project was born in 2016, and it evolved from being a part of "not just a label" to a prestigious and luxurious piece of jewelry. The realization of the collection took time as extensive research was conducted to select symbols that convey the right message. The collection was created in Nis, Serbia, and was first presented at Magioni Fine Jewellery in Belgrade on March 7, 2020.

By infusing jewelry with storytelling, The Roots collection fills a gap in the luxury jewelry market. It goes beyond precious metals and stones, offering pieces that evoke emotions and leave a lasting impact. The collection is unisex, comfortable, durable, and elegantly simple, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals.
