The inspiration behind the Poetry-Electricity design stemmed from the growing trend of personalizing office spaces to alleviate work-related stress. The designers observed that individuals often decorate their workspaces with family photos, simulated plants, and other items that create a sense of comfort and relaxation. This observation led to the idea of creating a digital device that not only serves a functional purpose but also contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the workspace.

Poetry-Electricity is a wireless charger that also functions as a tabletop atmosphere lamp. The tree-shaped spherical lights adorn the office environment, breaking the monotony and creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The charger is designed with a sense of context, meeting the basic functional needs while also serving as an ornament. This dual functionality makes the Poetry-Electricity a unique addition to any workspace.

The technical realization of the Poetry-Electricity design involves a built-in magnetic barrier that blocks the magnetic field, thereby not interfering with the circuit and improving the charging efficiency. The device also features a rubber texture to prevent the phone from slipping off during charging. Additionally, built-in strip lithium batteries are included for portable use.

The Poetry-Electricity design project began in May 2020 in Fushun, Liaoning Province, China, and was completed in December 2020. The project was a collaborative effort between designers and engineers, a university-enterprise cooperation project. The design was based on the university's scientific research background and the technical conditions of the update and improvement.

The Poetry-Electricity design faced challenges in balancing simple modeling with emotional needs. The designers aimed to redefine product design from the perspective of semiotics, breaking the contradiction between simplicity and emotional appeal. The result is a product that not only serves a functional purpose but also provides a sense of companionship and comfort in the workspace.
