Design and Art Exhibition

frenchCALIFORNIA has created the first public exhibition in the never-before-seen Landmark Penthouse atop the iconic Steinway Hall on 111 West 57th Street. This registered historic and cultural landmark, which first opened its doors in 1925 with a performance from the NY Philharmonic, is also unveiling an adjacent tower by SHoP Architects and Bill Sofield. The curation includes a contemporary art collection featuring works by Jean Michel Othoniel, Hans Hartung, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Diane Arbus.

The design team behind this project includes Guillaume Coutheillas, Founder of frenchCALIFORNIA, Nancy Gabriel & Guillaume Excoffier, Founders of Gabriel & Guillaume, and Valerie Cueto, Founder of Cueto Art Advisory. Together, they have brought their expertise and passion for art, design, and curation to create a truly unique and captivating exhibition.

The Steinway Penthouse is located at 111 W 57th Street in New York City. The project has been a labor of love, showcasing the rich history and cultural significance of the Steinway Hall while also celebrating contemporary art and design.
