Pristine Elegance: A Modern Residence with a Stylish Bar

A Minimalist Design by Green House

The Pristine Elegance residence, designed by Green House, is a stunning example of modern minimalism. With its stable mid-dark color palette and sleek lines, this residence exudes sophistication and style. The highlight of the design is the bar area, which seamlessly integrates with the living room, creating a spacious and stylish atmosphere for gatherings.

The Pristine Elegance project stands out with its minimalist modern style. The design team, led by Xun-Hua Lu, used a combination of black, white, and gray tones to create a visually striking space. The facade features light gray mirrors and stylized gaps, creating a consistent and cohesive look. The use of gray mirrors adds brightness and depth to the public space, making it appear even more spacious.

One of the key features of the design is the transformation of the space into a bar area. By removing the facade of one of the rooms, the design team created two distinct lounges - the living room and the bar. The bar area features a large countertop for storage, a custom wine cabinet, and a small sink, creating a functional and inviting space for socializing.

The Pristine Elegance design utilizes a variety of high-quality building materials, including special paint, architectural concrete paint, marble, and wood flooring. To address the humid climate in Taiwan, the ceiling of the public area is painted with architectural concrete paint, while bright lighting is introduced to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The result is a minimalistic, natural, and elegant space that perfectly aligns with the design theme.

This new apartment spans 264.4 square meters and features two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The design team fulfilled the client's request for a bar by removing one of the partitions, expanding the public space, and converting the original dining area into a second bedroom. The living room and the bar serve as the focal points of the entire space, with a hidden door cleverly dividing the public and private areas. The kitchen and master bedroom are strategically located at the end of the corridor, providing both functionality and privacy.

The Pristine Elegance design is characterized by its modern style, bar area, gray mirrors, indirect lighting, and custom wine cabinet. These elements come together to create a space that is not only visually stunning but also highly functional. The bar area, in particular, stands out with its raised flooring, creating a stage-like effect that draws attention. The double-sided sofa in the living room offers guests a unique visual experience, while the overall design has attracted attention from show crews, who have used the client's private space as a workplace.

The Pristine Elegance project was completed in August 2022 in Taiwan. Extensive research went into the design process, with a focus on creating a calm and elegant modern style. The interplay of gray, white, and wood grain tones, along with the clever use of lighting and mirrors, adds depth and visual interest to the space. Overcoming challenges such as plumbing and flooring requirements, the design team successfully created a bar area that perfectly meets the client's needs.

The Pristine Elegance residence is a testament to the skill and creativity of Green House. With its modern aesthetic, functional design, and attention to detail, this project has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2023. This award acknowledges the outstanding and ingenious design of the Pristine Elegance residence, which incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
