Salon Trinity: A Luxurious Spa Experience for Hair Dressing

Creating an Atmosphere of Indulgence and Revitalization

The design of Salon Trinity is centered around the concept of a spa, aiming to create an escape from the urban environment. The interior design enhances the aesthetics while also providing a relaxing and revitalizing atmosphere. The use of white sheer curtains softens the space, creating a cozy ambiance. The light brown timber look tiles add an extra level of comfort, inviting clients to unwind and enjoy their time at the salon.

One of the standout features of Salon Trinity is the full-height triptych mirrors. These mirrors not only enhance the spaciousness of the salon but also provide a visually stunning element. The bronze trims and concealed lighting add a touch of elegance and create a unique visual image during the service. Additionally, an oversized round mirror outside of the washing area acts as both a visual and physical barrier, as well as an iconic feature of the brand.

Design Director Alvin Lee and his team faced several challenges in realizing the design of Salon Trinity. The triangular shape of the space required careful planning and layout to ensure sufficient operational space and circulation flow. However, through innovative thinking and incorporating practicality, they were able to create a space that not only meets the operational needs but also provides a visually striking and functional environment.

The project, which took place in Hong Kong, started in June 2022 and was completed in September 2022. Throughout the process, the design team worked closely with the client to understand the specific requirements of a hair dressing salon. The result is a design that breaks away from the standard perception of the industry and offers a truly unique and indulgent experience.

Salon Trinity has been recognized for its exceptional design and was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2023.
