The Potpourri project began in November 2022 in Fushun, Liaoning Province, China, and was completed in March 2023. Throughout the design process, Yong Zhang and the team faced the challenge of seamlessly integrating the flowers into the humidifier. The goal was to create an environment that mimics the natural habitat of the flowers and effectively diffuses the oil molecules from the petals into the air. The result is a design that successfully combines functionality and aesthetics.

Potpourri has already received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Home Appliances category in 2023. This prestigious accolade is given to designs that demonstrate innovation, practicality, and adherence to industry standards.
