Micro-inno Scope: Revolutionizing Cervical Cancer Screening

Portable Colposcope Wins Bronze at A' Design Awards

In a significant leap for medical technology, Micro-inno Medical Technology Co., Ltd. unveils a groundbreaking device aimed at transforming cervical cancer diagnostics.

Access to cervical cancer screening is a critical healthcare issue, especially in remote regions. Micro-inno Medical Technology Co., Ltd. has responded to this challenge with the Micro-inno Scope, a portable colposcope designed to make screenings more accessible. The device's inception was driven by the need to provide medical resources for gynecological examinations in underserved areas, enabling healthcare professionals to conduct screenings and share results via cloud technology.

What sets the Micro-inno Scope apart is its innovative use of multi-mode fluorescence imaging technology, NBI narrow-band imaging, and a high frame rate display, which together facilitate highly accurate detections. Remarkably, the device boasts an ultra-high magnification range of 3-100 times, allowing for the observation of minute details and providing results within 10 minutes— a testament to its efficiency and precision.

The colposcope's sustainable design features a shell made from 100% recyclable AL6061 aluminum alloy, reflecting the brand's commitment to environmental responsibility. The anodized and sandblasted surface ensures durability, while the integration of dual camera modules with a prism set allows for optical zoom effects and rapid focusing, courtesy of a voice coil motor linear motor.

With dimensions of 35mm in width, 36mm in depth, and 156mm in height, the Micro-inno Scope is notably compact. Its operation is synergistic with a disposable vaginal dilator, making the screening process seamless and reducing the risk of cross-infection. The colposcope's adaptability extends to its compatibility with various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and high-definition monitors, catering to diverse medical environments.

The development of the Micro-inno Scope, which began in October 2022 and concluded in December 2023 in Hangzhou, was a collaborative effort involving a dedicated team of designers and engineers. Their collective expertise has culminated in a device that not only meets the practical needs of healthcare providers but also aligns with the goal of increasing cervical cancer screening rates among women globally.

Recognition of the Micro-inno Scope's contribution to medical technology came with its Bronze win at the A' Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design Award in 2024. This prestigious accolade underscores the device's innovative design and its potential to significantly improve the quality of life for women worldwide, reinforcing Micro-inno Medical Technology Co., Ltd.'s position as a leader in healthcare innovation.
