Aura: The Connective Vehicle of the Future

Revolutionizing Mobility and Social Communication

Aura concept is a futuristic 1+1+1 connective vehicle which makes people able to share space as well as lifestyle and ideas. This innovative design, created by Kaveh N., Hakhamanesh M., and Reza S., takes inspiration from plants and their interconnectedness. The interior design features three seats connected to a central stalk, allowing for flexible seating arrangements. The key feature of the concept interior is space division for various purposes, enabling users to store and carry goods while spending time with friends and partners. Aura concept offers a unique and adjustable interior that promotes social interaction and sharing of space and time.

The Aura concept stands out from other designs with its emphasis on connectivity and shared experiences. This futuristic vehicle allows people to not only share physical space but also their lifestyle and ideas. The interior seat segmenting feature provides passengers with various positioning arrangements, depending on the number of people. This flexibility enhances the overall user experience and promotes a sense of community.

Technologically advanced, the Aura concept is powered by an electric power train hidden under a sculptural carbon fiber exterior. The design is specifically tailored for urban and metropolitan areas, offering a solution for efficient and flexible transportation. The exterior displays utilize Mirasol technology, which brings vibrant and vivid colors to life. Inspired by the structure of butterfly wings, Mirasol displays reflect light to create nature's purest and most vivid colors. The back of each seat is made of carbon fiber, while the seat frames are crafted from brushed aluminum. The handles supporting the seats are made of carbotanium, adding to the overall durability and aesthetic appeal of the design.

The dimensions of each module of the Aura concept are as follows: Width: 2100mm, Length: 3000mm, Height: 1900mm. These compact dimensions make the vehicle suitable for navigating through congested urban environments while providing ample interior space for passengers.

The Aura design goes beyond just transportation; it is based on a communication philosophy. Each person has an individual aura, which encompasses their behaviors, moralities, ideas, and tastes. The concept promotes communication between individuals whose auras intersect with one another. To enhance this communication, the design includes the Aura Bracelet/Ring, which serves as both a fashion accessory and a physical connection between the user and the vehicle. The Aura Bracelet/Ring enables users to record data, even when they are not in the car, further enhancing the overall user experience.

The Aura concept was developed between March and May 2012 in Tehran. The design team, consisting of Kaveh Nasserbakht and Reza Salianeh, conducted extensive research on future mobility trends and consumer needs. Their research involved studying more than 10 reports on future consumers, trends, and innovation, ensuring that the design aligned with future demands and expectations.

The development of the Aura concept was not without its challenges. The design team had to find a rational relationship between future design elements and trends while also considering the needs of future consumers and the structure of future cities. Overcoming these challenges resulted in a design that seamlessly integrates form and function, providing users with a unique and enjoyable experience.

The Aura concept has received recognition for its innovation and practicality. In 2014, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Futuristic Design category. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Aura concept's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics contributes to a better world and enhances the future of mobility.
