A Vintage Oasis in the Heart of the City

The ground floor of Liberty Exchange is an open bar, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying drinks with friends. The space is designed to be informal and inviting, with a focus on comfort and socializing. On the top floor, a more refined dining area awaits, offering a casual fine dining experience.

The highlight of Liberty Exchange is its vintage travel theme, which creates a sense of nostalgia and adventure. The top floor features a single pedestal table, complemented by leather chairs and leather trunks as decorative elements. This combination evokes a turn-of-the-century ambiance, transporting guests to a bygone era of exploration.

To add a touch of playfulness and casualness to the open bar area, dynamic floor tiles with various patterns are used. These tiles not only retain the fun atmosphere but also serve as a backdrop for the vintage-inspired design elements. One such element is a backdrop inspired by the old clock at the New York grand train station, creating an interesting juxtaposition with the floor tiles.

The design team faced the challenge of custom designing a 6-meter-high chandelier, which now serves as a striking centerpiece in Liberty Exchange. This impressive lighting fixture adds a touch of elegance and grandeur to the space, further enhancing the overall ambiance.

Constructed using a combination of stainless steel, bronze studs, plastic laminate, ceramic wall tiles, antique mirror, and leather, Liberty Exchange is a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of J. Candice Interior Architects. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality materials ensure a visually stunning and durable design.

Completed in June 2013, Liberty Exchange has become a popular destination for those seeking a unique dining and drinking experience in Central, Hong Kong. Its vintage travel-inspired design, combined with its warm and inviting atmosphere, makes it a must-visit for locals and tourists alike.
