The realization of this design involved the use of ABS plastic for the main housing, providing the Boomerang with the strength and durability required for a long-lasting life. The screen lens made of polycarbonate ensures crystal clear visibility, while the ABS plastic keypad provides an excellent tactile response. Boomerang's technical specifications include HD quality sound, hands-free speakerphone functionality, and a battery that lasts for up to 13 hours talk time and 230 hours standby time. The blue back-lit dot matrix display and white laser cut back-lit keypad make it comfortable to use in dark environments. The handset measures 50mm x 260mm x 22mm, while the base measures 60mm x 214mm x 27mm.

The design process, which began in October 2013 and concluded in May 2014, involved multiple rounds of prototypes and sketches to deliver the most comfortable yet functional handset, earpiece, and keypad. The design team, led by Valentino Chow, overcame creative and technical challenges to achieve a design that combines ergonomics and aesthetics while hiding technology.
