An Architectural Masterpiece by Viktor Bilak

Designed by Viktor Bilak, the Exhibition Stand Palitra is a stunning example of innovative exhibition design. Inspired by the image poster of KOF Palitra, the stand features colored crossing ribbons of wallpaper, creating a visually striking and unique aesthetic.

What sets this design apart is the art concept of using architectural lines of different types to bring the idea of crossing ribbons to life. The stand incorporates straight lines in the form of jalousie walls, semicircular lines of arches, and curved lines of frieze. This combination of architectural elements creates a dynamic and engaging environment for visitors.

The Exhibition Stand Palitra was brought to life using a combination of construction materials. The carcass of the stand is made from OCTANORM constructions, while the walls and other parts are constructed using MDF, plywood sheet, and chipboard.

Spanning an impressive 126 square meters, the stand measures 14000 mm x 9000 mm x 5000 mm. It provides ample space for visitors to explore and interact with the design.

Located in Moscow, the project started in September 2016 and was completed in January 2017 in Frankfurt am Main, where it was showcased at the Heimtextil 2017 exhibition.

The concept behind the Exhibition Stand Palitra reflects a modern approach to the creation of new architectural environments for both exterior and interior spaces. The use of crossing lines and open spaces mirrors the principles found in contemporary interiors with panoramic windows and jalousie walls.

Overcoming the challenges of realizing the idea of crossing lines of colored ribbons in architectural forms was no easy task. However, Viktor Bilak and his team successfully brought this vision to life, resulting in a truly remarkable design.

The Exhibition Stand Palitra has received recognition for its outstanding creativity and ingenuity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2017. This prestigious award honors designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
