Electric guitars have long been iconic symbols in the music industry, their designs largely unchanged since the 1960s. However, David Flores Loredo has dared to challenge this tradition with the Eagle. Inspired by the Streamline and Organic design philosophies, the Eagle presents a sculptural design with balanced proportions, interweaved volumes, and elegant lines that evoke a sense of flow and speed. This design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, resulting in one of the most lightweight electric guitars on the market.

The creation of the Eagle was a meticulous process that started with concept sketches and continued with Photoshop, Solidworks CAD modeling, rendering, and fabrication with a CNC machine. The final product was manually painted, polished, and adjusted. This careful process ensured that the guitar was not only visually stunning but also of high quality.

David Flores Loredo's design journey with the Eagle began in January 2016 and concluded in February 2017, taking place between Gijon and Madrid, Spain. The project required deep research into electric guitar engineering techniques to achieve high standards in sound, ergonomics, and playability. Loredo's previous experience with organic porcelain lamps inspired by nature's voronoi patterns also played a significant role in shaping the design of the Eagle.

The Eagle's design presented several challenges, the most significant of which was achieving a lightweight yet attractive design. The integration of all the components into small spaces and the adaptation to real ergonomics without reducing the beauty of the initial design were also significant hurdles. However, Loredo's dedication and creativity led to the creation of a design that is not only innovative and defiant but also proportioned and elegant.

The Eagle's unique design and high-quality sound have not gone unnoticed. In 2017, it was awarded the Golden A' Musical Instruments Design Award, a prestigious accolade granted to outstanding and trendsetting creations that significantly impact the world with their desirable characteristics. This award is a testament to Loredo's innovative design and the potential of the Eagle to revolutionize the world of electric guitars.
