Segnoinverso srl's F11: A New Era in Coffee Machines

Segnoinverso srl's F11 stands out with its simple elegance, clean lines, and high-quality materials. Its compact size makes it suitable for various environments, from small offices and meeting rooms to home kitchens. The 7" color touch display and easy-to-understand beverage menu make it user-friendly. The F11 offers a "one-touch" experience, allowing users to customize their preferred beverages. Its enlarged bean hopper, water tank, and grounds container are designed to handle peak hour demand.

The F11 was realized using plastic injection moulding of ABS with a high-glossy surface finish, complemented by stainless steel metal parts. Its innovative patented brewing system can use pressurized and non-pressurized erogation for espresso or regular coffee. The ceramic flat blades ensure 100% aroma retention of the coffee beans, offering a superior coffee experience.

The design process began in early 2017, with the product being manufactured in October 2017, just in time for the HOST Milan show, a significant event for coffee products. The design was approved in March 2017, following extensive research and benchmarking of existing products in the same range. The research focused on shapes, materials, usage, and interface, aiming to find the optimal mix of these elements.

Designing the F11 posed several challenges, particularly in creating a unique design that did not resemble those of well-known brands. The trend of automatic coffee machines becoming a large touch display in front of a box made it difficult to create pure clean lines without appearing similar to other brands. However, the design team, led by Design Manager Nicola Zanetti and Designer Federico Gonzales Bosque, successfully overcame these challenges.

The F11's design is a testament to Segnoinverso srl's commitment to innovation and quality. The full-color 7" touch display is easy to use and intuitive. The patented brewing unit can offer pressurized espresso or non-pressurized regular coffee, and the aroma is guaranteed by ceramic flat blades.
