Revolutionizing Rehabilitation: Bin Li's Intelligent Lower Limb System

Award-Winning Design Offers Unique Solution for Children with Cerebral Palsy

Bin Li's groundbreaking lower limb rehabilitation system is a beacon of innovation in the medical field, specifically designed for children with cerebral palsy and other similar conditions. This unique product, which has no existing market counterparts, has been recognized with a prestigious Silver A' Design Award.

Bin Li's inspiration for this design stemmed from the increasing number of children with cerebral palsy and the limitations of current rehabilitation equipment. The existing products often fail to meet the treatment requirements, and in some cases, their improper design can cause additional injury to the children. This led Bin Li to create a product that could effectively address these issues and provide a more efficient solution for treatment and rehabilitation.

The uniqueness of this product lies in its target audience and its functionality. It is primarily aimed at children suffering from cerebral palsy, nerve damage, and dyskinesia of the lower limbs. However, it can also be used for other diseases that cause abnormal body control and for postoperative recovery. The product is designed to accommodate children aged between 4 and 12 years, with the expansion and mobility of the seats and legs tailored to this age group.

The design of the product is simple yet technologically advanced, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into the treatment environment. The overall seamless design and smooth guide angles make the product more delicate, eliminating any potential additional damage to the children. Environment-friendly materials have been used to ensure safety, low cost, and high quality.

The product uses electronic control for the exerciseable treatment mechanism. It features a screen with two different functions: helping doctors collect and export data, and providing interactive games for children. This dual functionality enables children to receive treatment more actively, making the process more engaging and less daunting.

The development of this product was a significant challenge due to the varying heights and sizes of children within the target age group. However, Bin Li and his team overcame this hurdle by conducting extensive software data simulations and functional physical prototype clinical tests. This research provided a solid foundation for the design, which was further enhanced by a friendly streamline modeling, bright colors, and an interesting interaction experience for the children.

This revolutionary product, which started its journey in Beijing in April 2015 and was completed in August 2016, has been recognized with the Silver A' Design Award. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, and it is a testament to the remarkable level of excellence that Bin Li's lower limb rehabilitation system embodies.
