Blue-and-white Porcelain: A Magnificent and Elegant Residential House

A Unique Blend of East and West

As one views the residence, a certain sentiment is invoked, and the scenery of blue and white porcelain combines the visual impact of artistic charm from the East with traditions from the West, with the breath of nature seeming to be infinitely unfolded in this home. The gentle and restrained sense of space altogether blend to portray the occupants personal style to create a magnificent and elegant home atmosphere. The result is a comfortable residence.

The Blue-and-white Porcelain residential house, designed by Tong-Yi Hu, is a stunning example of the fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics. Inspired by the beauty of blue and white porcelain, this design captures the essence of traditional Chinese art while incorporating modern elements.

One of the unique features of this design is the use of rich and spiritual marble, which creates a calm and exquisite atmosphere throughout the entire space. The mix and match style, highlighted by the color Gainsborough grey, adds a retro feel that is both elegant and romantic. The result is a kaleidoscopic style of sentiments that is truly one-of-a-kind.

The Blue-and-white Porcelain house is not only visually appealing but also showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Natural marble, imported tiles, rose gold titanium plating, island-type wood flooring, natural veneer dyeing, and specially handmade iron pieces were used to bring this design to life.

With dimensions of 12600 mm x 9380 mm x 2800 mm, this residential house offers a spacious and comfortable living environment. The design is characterized by its new American style, hotel-inspired elements, and meticulous attention to detail.

The Blue-and-white Porcelain house provides a welcoming and elegant atmosphere that promotes focus and relaxation. It is a space that reflects elegant charm and invites occupants to settle in and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings.

The project, which started in April 2019 and finished in August 2019, was exhibited in Taipei in August 2019. The design research behind this project focused on creating a living room with considerable storage space, a high and profound closet that relieves the soul, and a dining cabinet and hidden cabinets that abandon the tedious and introduce a new rhythm.

One of the challenges overcome in this design was the need to increase meal preparation space while maintaining a visually appealing layout. The island-style design not only provides additional workspace but also serves as a secret base for storing red wine, adding a sense of extension and creating a leisure area.

The Blue-and-white Porcelain house is a testament to the designer's vision and creativity. The gorgeous and unobtrusive Morandi hue provides a strong visual impact, imbuing the space with magic and creating a soft, soothing, quiet, and restrained sentiment. The result is a refreshingly new blended vision that is both exciting and calming.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. The award acknowledges the well-designed, practical, and innovative nature of the Blue-and-white Porcelain house, which meets professional and industrial requirements while contributing to a better world.
