The inspiration behind the Oz table stemmed from the idea that office tables should not be limited to a static surface, but rather offer a range of functional elements that can be easily added or removed. Bulent Unal, the designer, explains, "We don't always need the same things on the tables. Sometimes we need a vase, a pen holder, a phone holder, and when we don't need these parts, it is a problem where we can lift them off the table." With the Oz table, users have the freedom to choose between a flat classic table surface or seven different functional pieces that can be placed according to their needs.

What sets the Oz table apart is its versatility and adaptability. The table features seven interchangeable pieces that can be rotated vertically or made invisible, allowing users to customize the table to their liking. The order of the pieces can also be changed, providing endless possibilities for personalization. This not only enhances functionality but also allows users to create a workspace that reflects their individual style and preferences.

The Oz table is designed to be produced with wood material, offering a combination of durability and aesthetic appeal. The table top features specially designed spaces where the functional pieces can be placed. Two metal supports hidden underneath the table top hold the moving pieces in place. The sides of the moving pieces are coated with different materials, allowing users to achieve the desired function and visual effect.

With dimensions measuring 165 cm x 70 cm, the Oz table provides ample workspace for various office tasks. The table top is 3 mm thick, while the legs are made of solid wood. The other parts of the table are coated chipboard or MDF material, ensuring both durability and a visually appealing design.

One of the key features of the Oz table is its ability to offer a wide range of usage patterns. With seven different functional pieces and the option to change their arrangement, users can create up to 5040 different sequences. When considering the non-rotating variation of some parts, this number increases to an impressive 645,120 different usage patterns. The Oz table was conceptualized in December 2019 in Ankara, Turkey. The design is rooted in the principles of sustainability and personalization.
