Greenland Phoenix Pearl Club: A Fusion of Tradition and Modernity

Tao Huang and Zhihong Li's Award-Winning Design Emphasizes Natural Light and Space

The design of the Greenland Phoenix Pearl Club is inspired by the concept of light. The designers have skillfully manipulated natural light to create a dynamic, ever-changing space that mirrors the fluidity of life. The use of natural materials further enhances the tranquility and coziness of the space, providing a serene retreat from the bustling city life.

Phoenix Pearl is not just a building; it is a reflection of the residents' evolving understanding of home and life. The design takes into account the interdependence between humans, nature, and art, creating a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also deeply meaningful. The design is a tribute to traditional Chinese gardens, spiraling upwards to capture maximum natural light and provide an upward view, symbolizing the limitless possibilities of life.

The project, which spans 4239 square meters, started in January 2019 and was completed in June 2019. Despite the challenges of integrating various functions into the sculptural structure, the design team successfully created a space that offers a wide range of scenes to extend the pursuit of quality life. The result is a new consumption experience where urban living aesthetics integrate with mutually supportive communities.

The Greenland Phoenix Pearl Club has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is granted to outstanding and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, advancing art, science, design, and technology.
