Flamenco: Shower Ball Inspired by the Passionate Dance

Flamenco is not just an ordinary shower ball; it is a design masterpiece that captures the essence of the passionate dance form. Kiltae Son, the visionary designer behind this innovative creation, drew inspiration from his visit to Seville, where he witnessed the mesmerizing movements of flamenco dancers.

The challenge was to express the wavy skirt of a flamenco dancer using a shower ball. Kiltae Son experimented with various design concepts, including sculptural packages resembling assembled mobile lamps. However, he had to ensure that the package could be easily shipped online, prompting him to create a package that could fit into a delivery box while showcasing the contents of the shower ball.

Flamenco is made using a combination of nylon and polyester, resulting in a durable and visually appealing product. The package itself is made of translucent polypropylene (PP) material, allowing glimpses of the vibrant shower balls inside. Kiltae Son meticulously painted a flamenco dancer on the packaging, evoking the passion and energy of the dance.

Each Flamenco package contains a white shower ball, symbolizing the top of the dancer's costume, along with three different colored shower balls that represent the flowing skirt. When the package is opened, the vividly colored shower balls create a visual spectacle, reminiscent of a flamenco dancer in motion.

Functionally, Flamenco is designed to be used with body shower cleanser, creating a rich lather for a refreshing and invigorating bathing experience. Kiltae Son's creation not only adds a touch of artistry to the daily bathing routine but also pays homage to the bathing culture of ancient Rome, where personal hygiene was highly valued.

The Flamenco shower ball package has garnered recognition for its unique design and innovative approach. It has been awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the design's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial standards.
