Rebirth of the Scorched Earth: A Retail Space Transformed into a Performing Stage

The Atelier Intimo Flagship store is not your typical retail space. The entrance, covered in gold-plated Khaki stainless steel, is a nod to the concept of rebirth from scorched earth. This unique design element, combined with large clear glazing, invites visitors to step in and immerse themselves in the experience.

Inside, the store is filled with a series of four 3D printed installation artworks, each one a unique blend of mannequin parts and blossoming flower petals. These installations, created by O and O Studio, are designed to elaborate on the ethos of the brand and the flagship concept.

The store's layout has been carefully planned to maximize retail zones and back of house areas. The VIP space on the first floor, for instance, sits on an elevated platform with three theatrical windows. This space can be fully opened for product launches or closed off for private lingerie trials and parties.

The design process also included a unique research project named 15plus1. The project involved 3D scanning and printing the breast shapes of 15 female customers and one female staff member. These semi-body mannequins, each wearing Atelier Intimo products, are displayed along the wall, adding a unique and personal touch to the store's design.
