Bojing Moon White: A Villa Design by Caifu Li

Unveiling the Harmonious Relationship Between Interior and Exterior

In a traditional Chinese building, overlook is an art form. Thus, it is used quite a few times in this project. The communication between people does not have to happen in the same place; instead, it can also cut through walls and floors. The house has three floors above with a basement. The rhythm of the house is well tuned, following the building's own melody, with nature and humanity as the main tone, and offer a good condition for "overlook".

The Bojing Moon White villa, designed by Caifu Li, stands out with its unique approach to space and design. With a focus on nature, humanity, and the harmonious relationship between interior and exterior, this villa offers a living experience that is both visually stunning and emotionally enriching.

One of the standout features of this design is the structural change that sets it apart from others. The use of various methods, such as view responding, view borrowing, view framing, extension, vertical slit, structural sinking, and the application of glass material, creates a seamless connection between the interior and the exterior. This allows natural light, breeze, and external landscapes to flow into the living spaces, enhancing the visual perception and overall living experience of the residents.

With a project area of 1050 square meters, the Bojing Moon White villa showcases the perfect blend of form and function. The use of stone, wood finish, painting, Italian styled furniture, glass rail with no handrails, and curved steel glass handrails adds to the overall aesthetic appeal and functionality of the design.

Caifu Li's approach to the design process involves meticulous planning and attention to detail. From the preliminary planning and design of the space plane to the delivery of construction drawings and supervision of the construction process, every step is carefully executed to ensure the highest quality and satisfaction for the residents.

Completed between January 2017 and April 2020, the Bojing Moon White villa is located on East Xingning Road cross Jiangcheng Road in Ningbo. The design is a testament to Caifu Li's dedication to creating spaces that prioritize human experience and emotional communication. By integrating nature, humanity, and art, this design goes beyond mere decoration, offering a harmonious and comfortable living environment.

The Bojing Moon White villa has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges the design's creativity, resourcefulness, and contribution to improving the quality of life.
