Creating a Feast for the Senses

The Aoka Sales Office, designed by Miaoyi Jiang, is a stunning example of how art and design can come together to create a truly immersive experience. Inspired by the beauty of curves, light and shadow, mountains and rocks, and geometric elements, the space takes visitors on a journey of movement and exploration.

One of the standout features of the sales office is the reception desk, which has been custom-designed with a curved shape that resembles a sculpture. This attention to detail and craftsmanship is evident throughout the space, with artworks and sculptures enhancing the overall aesthetic.

The negotiation area is designed to create a casual and relaxed atmosphere, with curved elements seamlessly integrated to provide a comfortable and interesting environment. The use of hyperboloid shapes, combined with carefully placed lighting, creates ever-changing light and shadow effects, ensuring that the space never feels dull or static.

Spanning a total of 12,814 square meters, the Aoka Sales Office is located in the Qinhan New City of Xianyang, China. This area, known for its rich cultural heritage, provided the perfect backdrop for the project. By incorporating historical customs and modern elements, the design emphasizes the cultural connotation of the field, creating a space where life meets aesthetics and art blends into everyday life.

The Aoka Sales Office project started in November 2019 and was completed in August 2020. Throughout the design process, the team faced various challenges, including finding the right balance between historical and modern elements and creating a space that reflects the urban humanistic spirit. However, through creativity and innovation, they were able to overcome these challenges and create a truly exceptional sales center.

The Aoka Sales Office has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate resourcefulness, technical skill, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
