Xinguang E-Sports Animation Island: A Fusion of Creativity and Technology

Revolutionizing Office Spaces with Alex Chiang's Innovative Design

Located near the Huaguo Mountain Scenic Area and Xinghai Lake Park, the Xinguang E-Sports Animation Island draws inspiration from Zhang Jiuling's "Looking at Lushan Waterfall Spring in Lake Estuary". The project aims to create a harmonious blend of nature and technology, mirroring the balance between the scenic mountain views and the architectural complex.

What sets this design apart is its unique approach to office spaces. The project is envisioned as a creative office group that combines game production and animation research and development. It integrates various industries, including animation, e-sports, and technology, and enhances customer experience with its sharing, creativity, green, water curtain, and lake view themes.

The design realization pays tribute to Huaguo Mountain's image through stacked and retracted board buildings. It features public platforms, green stairs, and slow walking paths, creating different routes to work. The vertical greenery of the planning and climbing at random echoes with the environment, further enhancing the project's aesthetic appeal.

The project is strategically located in Lianyungang's new urban area, with a site area of 48,925 square meters and a planned area of 125,300 square meters. The design process involved several challenges, including setting up four open spaces on the first and second floors of the building group: Meng dimensional square, Chaoren animation square, League of Legends square, and Star Square. A nearly 200-wide east-west landscape pool echoes the Xinghai Lake, creating a serene and tranquil environment.

The project's design was completed in July 2020 and is set to open in Lianyungang, China. It has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Golden A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award in 2022. This prestigious award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
