Draw One Calendar: A Minimalist Calendar That Encourages Time Appreciation

Traditional calendars serve as timekeeping tools, but Draw One Calendar goes beyond that by infusing deeper meaning into the concept of time. Inspired by the metaphor of a tissue box, this calendar offers a unique and interactive way to mark the passing of days.

Each sheet of paper in the Draw One Calendar represents a single day, just like a tissue in a tissue box. Users can update the date by drawing on the paper, making each day a creative and personal experience. Once a sheet is drawn on, it cannot be used again, symbolizing the one-way nature of time.

The design of Draw One Calendar also incorporates a hollow wooden box, reminiscent of a tissue box, which allows users to see the process of paper reduction as the days go by. This visual representation of time passing creates a stronger connection between the calendar and the rest of the year.

Measuring at 400mm in width, 170mm in depth, and 230mm in height, Draw One Calendar is a compact and elegant addition to any workspace or home. The calendar is made using cutting-edge technology, including laser engraving for printing logos on the wooden boards and environmentally friendly glue for bonding the parts. A final wax application preserves the natural texture and soft touch of the wood.

Draw One Calendar has received recognition for its innovative design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Idea and Conceptual Design category in 2022. This prestigious award honors designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
