2020 was a challenging year for everyone, and the design industry was no exception. With over 130,000 closed stores in Mexico, creating a design strategy driven by in-store activations became a daunting task. However, the increase in at-home consumption and the surge in viewership on platforms like Netflix inspired us at PepsiCo Design and Innovation to take on a daring project.

Introducing the Sabritas X Netflix Money Heist collaboration, a limited-time promotion that combines the excitement of the popular TV show with the joy of snacking. This unique food packaging design aims to engage and encourage people to share and collect the packs while igniting social media buzz.

Working with Netflix on a show promotion for the first time, the designers at PepsiCo Design and Innovation faced an important and historical moment. Their challenge was to create a design that not only captures the essence of the Money Heist series but also stands out on the shelves and grabs the attention of consumers.

The Sabritas X Netflix Money Heist packaging design is a testament to the creativity and innovation of the team.
