Six Grams: The Future of Cutlery

Lightweight Carbon Fiber Cutlery by Kiwa Art and Design Inc.

Our inspiration comes from the weight of meals. Existing cutlery is almost made of metals, so we have the weight of metal itself and meals. But if we can feel the weight of meals when we eat, we may get any other idea or insight, inspiration from the meals. Six grams, made by Carbon FRP which is used in aerospace craft, is very lightweight so you can feel the meal directly. Also, metal has luxury and stability, but there is allergy. Our six grams is Hypoallergenic, so it is friendly for the body.

Six Grams is the cutlery of the future, made of carbon fiber (CFRP). When you hold it in your hand, the thinness and lightness of the cutlery make it disappear, emphasizing the presence of the food and giving you a dining experience unlike any other.

This cutlery set is produced in full carbon fiber, with each knife, fork, and spoon weighing only 6 grams. This extreme lightweight body allows you to truly feel the weight of your food, something you were never aware of before. It offers a new and unique dining experience.

The appearance of Six Grams is also strikingly different from traditional metal cutlery. The jet black color of carbon fiber creates a visual experience reminiscent of the universe floating on the table.

Furthermore, the use of carbon fiber makes Six Grams hypoallergenic, allowing people with metal allergies to enjoy their meals without any worries.

The technical specifications of Six Grams are as follows: Height of presentation: 198mm, Width of presentation: 30mm, Depth of presentation: 15mm.

Six Grams has been recognized for its exceptional design and innovation. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design category in 2022. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. Six Grams stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and its contribution to a better world.
