Revolutionizing Outdoor Power Supply: The Jackery-LightCycle S1

Introducing the Jackery-LightCycle S1, an innovative outdoor power supply with a unique tyre design, created by the ingenious minds of Wei Bai, Jiajin He and Xiaowei Yin. This design, which recently won the Silver A' Energy Products, Projects and Devices Design Award, is set to revolutionize the way power is transported and used outdoors.

The Jackery-LightCycle S1 was born out of the need to address the inconvenience of traditional outdoor power supplies. Its unique tyre design allows users to easily move the device by pulling the handle, avoiding the homogenous competition of product shapes. This design feature not only enhances portability but also solves the problem of moving large capacity energy storage devices.

What sets the LightCycle S1 apart from other outdoor power supplies is its high power and high capacity. It can adapt to 99% of the electrical appliances on the market, providing them with long battery life. The device's surface is made from rubber and composite materials such as carbon black, which are wear-resistant and shock-proof. This solid tyre design ensures a lower deformation rate and stronger heat dissipation, making the product adaptable to different working environments and improving its safety performance and lifespan.

One of the most innovative aspects of the LightCycle S1 is its self-generating feature. As the device is moved, the kinetic energy generated by the rotation of the body is converted into electric energy by the built-in generator system and stored in the battery pack. This provides a steady green energy supply for outdoor travel. Additional features include a rotary shield on both sides of the device to protect the input and output terminal and enhance electricity safety, and a foldable handle for easy storage.

The design process for the LightCycle S1 began and ended in 2022 in Shenzhen. The project's research goal was to seize the market through a tyre shaped outdoor power supply, focusing on ease of carrying, high power, and high capacity. The design team conducted online research and used data from professional research companies to inform their design. The result is a product that not only breaks through the existing energy storage model but also promotes lower-carbon travels.

The major challenge the design team faced was ensuring the product's anti-shock performance against harsh road conditions. This was addressed by using rubber and composite materials such as carbon black for the surface of the tyre-like body, enhancing the strength, wear resistance, and shock resistance of the product.

The Jackery-LightCycle S1's unique design and innovative features have earned it the Silver A' Energy Products, Projects and Devices Design Award in 2022. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The award is a testament to the LightCycle S1's remarkable level of excellence and its potential to introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
