In this new identity, Haiwen Yang, the designer behind Anlan Branding, reshapes the perception of beauty brands by combining technology and aesthetics. The result is a modern and independent feeling that challenges the traditional feminine language.

The Anlan Branding project, led by designer Haiwen Yang, aims to redefine the identity of a beauty brand. The inspiration for this design came from the letter A, which serves as a stable and gentle symbol. By carefully cutting the letter A, the brand's values of technology and aesthetics are perfectly matched, creating new possibilities and experiences for clients.

What sets this design apart is its ability to convey the concept of modern femininity, combining rigidity and softness. The typeface corners are rounded, maintaining simplicity and cleanliness. Additionally, a flower pattern derived from the letter A adds a new gesture to interpret the meaning of beauty. The use of purple as the main branding color is both brave and bright, challenging the inherent perception of women's beauty brands and promoting a more independent feeling.

The realization of this design required a delicate balance between rigidity and softness. The importance of the symbolic flower pattern was downplayed, and the colors in the logo were removed to convey aesthetics while showcasing modern independence. The coordinated images were applied to all physical stationery and packaging systems, ensuring a consistent and recognizable brand identity.

The new identity created by Haiwen Yang and the design team behind Anlan Branding showcases the charm of modern beauty. Its inclusive design is easy to apply, helping the brand convey its attitude and values. Users can easily associate the visual identity with the products offered, making it simple, clear, and straightforward.

The Anlan Branding project began in Shenzhen, China in April 2021 and was delivered to the client in January 2022. Throughout the design process, the team faced the challenge of finding the right balance between gentleness and strength. The goal was to convey the message of enjoying the use of beauty devices to renew oneself and exude confident charm. The degree of rounded corners in the logotype, the portion of red and blue in the sensitive purple main color, and the ratio of graphics and text were all carefully considered to achieve the desired combination of rigidity and softness.

The Anlan Branding project has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2023. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics. The Anlan Branding project fulfills these criteria, contributing to a better world through its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach.
