Wave Rhythm: A Tranquil and Innovative Residence

Embracing Nature's Elements in Interior Design

The client's love for the natural world, particularly the movement of leaves in the wind, the play of light through treetops, and the flowing lines of a stream, served as the foundation for this design. The goal was to capture the essence of these natural elements and infuse them into the functional interior design, creating a space that exudes both softness and strength.

The standout feature of the Wave Rhythm residence is the wall adorned with irregular water-inspired patterns. These dynamic lines create an intriguing visual expression, adding a touch of elegance and movement to the space. The three-dimensional concept of the interior design further enhances the wave-like theme, with vertical, deep, and horizontal dimensions carefully integrated throughout the space.

To bring the water-inspired design to life, a range of high-quality materials were utilized, including artistic coatings, wood veneers, system cabinets, wood flooring, stone, ironwork, mineral paint, and blue velvet carpets. The color scheme, predominantly light tones, complements the overall aesthetic, while the use of wood grain textures adds depth and character to each area. The result is a tranquil and elegant interior that shines under natural daylight.

The Wave Rhythm residence spans a total area of 132.2 square meters and features three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and three bathrooms. The layout prioritizes comfort and naturalness, with a rational arrangement of movement and optimized floor-to-ceiling windows that blur the boundaries between public and private spaces. Notably, a rippling wall takes center stage in the walkway, captivating visitors and creating a sense of flow.

Designed by Jing Design, the Wave Rhythm residence showcases the perfect balance between nature and modern living. The integration of water-inspired elements and the emphasis on balance make this design truly unique. By embracing the fluidity and formlessness of water, this residence offers a serene and open living experience.

The Wave Rhythm residence was completed in April 2021 in Taiwan, and its innovative design has garnered recognition. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2023. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the exceptional creativity and resourcefulness exhibited in the design, as well as its contribution to improving the quality of life.
