Yansheng Xia's Innovative Portable Stove: A New Take on Outdoor Cooking

Combining Functionality and Style in a Compact, Portable Design

The concept of the portable stove was born out of a deep understanding of the use of the oven. Xia was inspired by the fashionable suitcase, combining its folding structure with the characteristics of a carabinery oven pan to create a lightweight, portable stove. The design caters to the modern trend of outdoor picnics, particularly among young people seeking a break from city life and a return to nature.

What sets this design apart is its unique properties. The portable stove seamlessly integrates the gas can, ovenware, fire source, and oil storage, providing a holistic solution for outdoor cooking. The foldable structure of the kitchenware makes it lightweight and easy to carry, making it a "passport" of sorts for outdoor cooking.

The stove uses liquefied petroleum gas as the combustion material, which has a high combustion value, is reliable, and is free of soot and odor. The product's dimensions when closed are 280mm in length, 36mm in width, and 315.89mm in height. When opened, it measures 554.07mm in length, 36mm in width, and 88.95mm in height. The size of the gas tank is 200m in height and 65mm in width.

Operating the stove is as simple as opening and closing a case. This ease of use, combined with the stove's comprehensive functionality, makes it a perfect companion for outdoor cooking with friends and family. The design project, which started in March 2022 in Zhengzhou and finished in June 2022 in the same city, was exhibited there in June 2022.

Despite the challenges encountered during the design process, Xia's commitment to the concept of product portability remained steadfast. The final design concept remained consistent with the original idea, demonstrating the designer's dedication to creating a product that not only meets the aesthetic needs of young people but also adds a touch of beauty to life.
